Dues:  $25.00 per year for adults 18 years and older

Family Dues (2 adults at the same address): $35.00 per year

Junior Members (8-17 yrs.) must pay the annual fee 
for CFMS dues & insurance ($9.00)

All new members must pay a one-time $10.00 name badge fee

Membership Benefits

A Lapidary Shop which you can visit to use equipment and learn from club experts all the fine points of the lapidary arts. (small fees charged) 

Membership in the California Federation of Mineralogical Societies and the American Federation of Mineralogical Societies.

Field Trips to rock and fossil collecting sites, in conjunction with the Northern California CO-OP Field Trip Association.

A monthly 8-page Bulletin, "The Rollin' Rock," which includes all upcoming club activities and news, as well as show notifications around the state, and interesting hobby-related articles.

 

Monthly Meetings where you can gather with other rockhounds and see presentations of interest on lapidary, mineral and fossil subjects. Refreshments are provided by volunteers. Silent Auctions offer tremendous bargains for buying specimens, slabs, etc.

A yearly Gem & Mineral Show with more than 40 vendors and thousands of participants. Club members receive free admission.

Lapidary Classes in specific subjects such as cabochon making, wire-wrapping, stone carving, silver casting, etc. (fees charged). 

  

Hundreds of Library books, magazines and videos on lapidary, rock and fossil related subjects. Items can be borrowed at meetings and returned at next meeting. 

A Youth Group for children under 18, with monthly meetings, projects, and badges to be earned in rock and mineral related areas.

Club ID Items -- T-shirts, vests, caps, and patches sold at cost, at most meetings.

Club Website with information & updates on club activities, and many links to other rockhounding websites.
